Bottle feeding |

I hope someone has some advice about this. My daughter, who is 5 months old, doesn't seem to want her bottles much lately. It's been going on for about 2 weeks now. I just don't know what to do. She'll start to have the bottle, and drink like half, and then pull away. If I try to give her more, she ends up crying. Sometimes, she'll just refuse it completely and cry.
I tried giving her a bottle just a short while ago, and she refused it completely, just screaming her head off. Now, this could be because she was very tired. But I just don't know what is going on.
I don't want her to become dehydrated and sick. She appears well though, and doesn't seem to be teething or anything. She does have baby food as well, so I hope that isn't interferring.
I feel so hopeless. Does anyone possibly have an suggestions or advice?
Every child is different so you have to follow your instincts more than advice but in general first try and try again. Babies can be very stubborn but usually will give in when they get hungry enough. Not to say that that is always the case. My second daughter , Brielle, starved herself for three days because she didn't want anything I tried her on. The things I tried were breast feeding which at 2 1/2 months she just wouldn't drink it anymore I then of course tried formula but she wouldn't drink that either, next was soy milk ,some with flavouring, then goats milk and finally I had to take her to the doctors who said we had to try normal cows milk watered down half and half she took to this like a duck to water and I never had any problems with her feeding after that.
There can also be some stomach conditions and allergies that can turn a baby off their food. So if any body is really worried always consult your doctor or childhood nurse. I have said before and I will say again a parents instincts are usually more right than they know. You know your baby best .
