preventing as much wind when feeding |

When you have a new baby and you are bottle feeding sometimes hard to get all the wind to come up but I found a few things which helped prevent my little boy getting as much wind.
Firstly the type of bottle that you use. i found that the
Dr Brown or MAM bottles were the best. The MAM had air holes in the bottom so when the baby breathed into the bottle the air went out the bottom of the bottle instead of into his belly.
There are several medicines that you can give which over the time they help get rid of the wind such as infacol and dentinox which when in the stomach burst/ dissolve the bubbles of air. They work well over a period of time andcan be easily administered to baby.
Also i found as recommended by HV that feeding the baby in an upright sitting position less air will enter the mouth therefore giving less wind and preventing belly ache after the feed.
I hope that this can be of some help
