I believe some of you have heard about 'Kris Kringle' present. If not, well I will tell you. Kris Kringle is a mispronounce name Santa Clause in German. To find out more see
Who is Kris Kringle.
But Kris Kringle also a tradition where people exchange their christmas

present (see
Wikipedia; Kris Kringle).
How do they do it:
- I have heard a family did it like this. Start on one Christmas (or you could start sometime at family gathering before Christmas time), you write each name of family members on a piece of papers and put them in a bowl or a hat.
- Then each person pick one paper from the bowl/hat. The name mention on the paper will be the person he/she will buy the present for next Christmas. So, instead of you buying present for whole family you only buy one.
- You can always make a rule of how much money should be spent (ie. not more than $50)
I think the idea it is very good. It save each person from spending lot of money and breaking each person bank to pleased each individual. It can be a family tradition without creating more debts.
So if you have not done this. Give it a try. It sounds fun to me.
Merry Christmas to all!
