I don't know about anyone else out there, but on really hot days, as we dont have a wading pool for our girls to keep cool, they used to play with the hose in the backyard!!!!!

But with the lack of water this year, and the water restrictions, i

decided to give them water in a spray gun each, so they can spray each other when they want to go for a play outside in the backyard.

I know it is still using water, but i figure, that at least we don't have a tap left running and waisting all that water....and they have just as much fun running around squirting each other with water!!!!!

If anyone else has any other ideas that we could do to keep the children cool, safe and having fun, without having to worry about the sun burning us, and smothering ourselves every hour or so with sunscreen.....
