Unwanted Clothes

Marlena by Marlena Young Parent(December 2006) (rank 12th)

Are a type of person who likes to give to Charty but have a hard time deciding what to give well I have a something that will help you clear your closet of clothes you no longer wear that others might.  first you have to take your clothes place them

on hangers and make sure all the hangers are facing the same way.  As you wear things and put them back you have to place the hanger going the opposite way.  After 6 months you look in your closet and if there are hangers that are still hung the original way then you havn't wore them in  6months so you would then place those in a box up in your closet.  After another 6 months if you havn't gone into the box for those clothes then it is safe to say you no longer wear them or need them.  using this system will keep your closet clean and clear of unwanted clothing and you soemone else can benifit from you unwanted clothes

I dont understand why this advice is up, I wrote this a long while ago.  What if you change it organizing your childs closet does that make it better?  Personally I have to be organized or I go nuts and If I go nuts, my poor son LOL.  I just thought it was advice that could make people a bit organized for there sanity and maybe there childrens sanity.

I dont know if it is the same where you live but  some charitys will pick it up from your house.  Find out, look it up in a phone book and call them.  It doesn't hurt to ask.

i sort thru my clothes once the season changes, and any i don't want anymore, goes into a plastic bag or box and goes to the op shop where my mum works. I love to recycle clothing.
