Parent and Child

Marlena by Marlena Young Parent(December 2006) (rank 13th)

cont' of Mother and Grandmother Advice.

I read that e-mail again and I thought about soemthing.  My boyfriend works  a whole lot and I spend all my time with my son.  So I thought that maybe it would be nice for my boyfriend and my son to

have there own dinner out by themselves.  Where they can bound and really get to know each other.  It would be great for the both of them Or if the husband is the stay at home mom and the Wife is the worker let her have the dinner with the child.  The workign parent doesn't spend eough time with there children adn should have  that ever so often.

We are lucky.
I am the stay at home dad and my wife is usually home in time for dinner each night and we both have the weekends off but I think it is good that the working parent gets some quality time with each member of the family.

Parent / Child Bonding
My husband is a shift worker and we have two boys so when he is home he will quite often take them out to the park  and ride bikes or go to the movies and they all love it!

I do this...
I will often say to the hubby, "Girls day out"  And I take Camille out to lunch or just to go shopping with me.. We have a lot of fun and we bond.. It is great. And since her little brother was born the both of us have so much fun looking for clothes for him.. I have even been able to figure out her taste in clothes... Which I am still not sure is a good thing but we are working on that... :)
