Roadtest - Tj Bearytales

Anonymous Author (December 2006)
HEY ALL! as christmas has just passed i have found a couple more roadtests to do!

TJ BEARYTALES by PLAYSKOOL

PRICE: around $90 AU
AGES: 3 and up (
not in my sons age group yet but still good for him)
BATTERIES: not included, takes
4 D size batteries.

Ok, Koen's nan bought this toy for him for christmas, he is a soft bear with mechanical ears, eyes, nose, mouth, neck and arms! TJ tells stories, which consist of a cartridge you plug into his backpack and a book for your child to read along. TJ also plays games like I spy and sings songs aswell!

This toy would have to be one of the best to keep a child happy on long car rides as it keeps the child amused, heck im even amused by this toy! it is adorable!

For children who are learning to read, TJ reads along with them, and when its time to turn the page a chime sounds. There are also options on the backpack to skip pages and to pause TJ too.

although my son is not in the age group for this toy, he listens to TJ's stories but when TJ is not being used, i put it up so nothing happens while i am not looking, as it says on the instructions not to drop or throw TJ as it can result in mechanical damage.

i believe this toy is a more updated version of TEDDY RUXBIN (also made by playskool) which has not been out in a long time, so if there are any parents out there looking for something similar to what they had as a kid for their little ones, TJ Bearytales is the toy for them!

I GIVE THIS TOY 'FIVE THUMBS UP!' I think its something your child may treasure for many years.

thanks for reading and i hope these 'roadtests' help you with your decision on your childs toys for fun and education!

channy! xox
