Re: A Healthy Baby

I don't believe babies NEED to see a dr to be healthy. For us we only see dr if there is a need ie. illness or health concerns. In Australia most hosps refer a nurse to see you post birth and then appointments periodically to check development. Some mothers find these to be reassurring. I have chosen not to see the child health nurse this time as I trust my instincts and find the nurse often undermines me. This is a personal feeling and decision. (ie. others should not take this as advice).

Little book
All new parents are given a book in which they can keep these details all together.  In the UK I think it is a red book.  They are small and you can keep all birth and growth records as well as other conditions in the same place.  Priceless accessory - make sure you always carry it with you.
I wrote on this a while ago Child-Health-Book  , I did try to add the link, but I couldn't...so there it is instead.
Peace

Hey matey,

I went to check the link out but it isn't working. When I clicked on the link and got this message

Firefox can't find the server at www.child-health-book.com. (and all the reset that goes with it)

Is there something missing from the address maybe? http://child-health-book/

Just wanted to let you know......
