As a parent of two pretty crafty kids I know how quickly the masterpieces can accumulate. I keep a handful for a keepsake book and another stack I store in a drawer for when I need gift tags, cards or wrapping paper. I cut out the details of the painting or
drawing that I love and either fold it in half (for an easy and personal gift tag) or I glue it to a folded piece of card stock, have my kids sign or scribble on the card and mail it off. And if the paper is large enough to wrap a gift with then I’ll do that. I use embroidery thread for the tags and sometimes instead of ribbon on gifts. I get so many compliments on these simple hand made tokens and I save quite a bundle of money as well.
