Stop the bugs from coming

Marlena by Marlena Young Parent(January 2007) (rank 12th)
So today my son decided to empty out his toy box in his room.  I don't think this is a bad thing, if anything this is a good thing.  I don't mind cleaning up the toys at night as long as he had fun playing with them.  The thing
I noticed when he emptied it out was the food that was in there.  Cracker crumbs, half a cookie, piece of cheese string and some chips.  I myself am a clean person so when I saw this I was surprised.  I also was surprised to notice that my son doesn't eat all the food I give him.  I cant even imagine how much more food would pile up if I hadn't noticed that today and where else he has hidden food.   Now I know how people can have a bug problem and not know why or how it started.  So my advice to you is to check your children's toy rooms and rooms and do a clean up to get all that food that your children may have dropped before it gets out of hand and you have a bug problem.  Thank god I don't have bugs, I hate them.

Hidden food
Just yesterday I was in my son's room and heard the dog munching behind me.  I have no idea what he found, but I was really glad he found it.  I don't know if it was someplace that I ever would have.  LOL.

bugs

Oh my goodness, I can relate to you. My kitchen cabinets have child locks on them but they do still open a few inches even. When I reach for pots and pans I notice all sorts of toys that I thought we've lost. Thankfully, I haven't found any food yet since we have dogs. I've seen my son give them the foods he doesn't want to eat. But I'm imagine that it won't be long before I DO find crumbs and what nots though.

My weakness is bugs....

I really hate things that have more legs than I do and that are able to walk sideways ....ewwww...I have goose bumps all over now....yuck!

When my son was little he hid the most juiciest peach you could think of in his toy box. Something I had only found after looking for his other shoe.....my hand went straight through it.....I must have spent 20 minutes in the bathroom throwing up and then another 20 washing my hands...ewwww....

I am the same way, I hate bugs a lot.  My sister actually was missing a sippy cup once and she looked everywhere and she knew it had milk in it.  It was over a week before she found it and it was in the trunk of my nephews riding tractor.  Lets just say it wasn't milk anymore YUCKY.
