Vinegar

Bambie30 by Bambie30 Talking(January 2007) (rank 222nd)
I have to say when my mother told me vinegar was good for a lot of things i was sceptical. Yesterday my daughter was playing outside when she was stung on the back by a wasp. While she was screaming i was panicking hoping she wasnt allergic i rang my mum
and she told me to dab vinegar on it and well i would have just about tried anything so i did. Within 5min she was laughing again and playing in a cool bath. Thanx mum. Vinegar is also good for the stains kiddies sometimes make on the carpets and really good for cleaning lino's as well.

Brwn vineger
My mum has always used brown vinegar and on our sunburn it takes the redness out of the skin by dehydrating it , so it cant burn any more exactly like the  nursery rhyme

Jack and jill went up the
hill to fetch a pail of water
jack fell down and broke
his crown and jill came tumbling after

up jack got and home he trot
as fast as he could caper
he went to bed and bound his head
in vinegar and brown paper
vinegar

I also use white vinegar on my windows and glass surfaces on paper towel, to clean them. It smells like a fish shop but cleans good and the smell goes rather quick.

Miracle Cure
So glad that it worked.  It seems increasingly that Vinegar is useful for so many different practical things.  I amstarting to use it more and more.  Sometimes i feel like the vinegar queen...how sad is that.  LOL
Peace

Vinegar

Vinegar is an excellent product and is also beneficially healthy for you when consumed. By far the healthiest salad dressing I have used is Apple cider vinegar, olive oil, rock salt and cracked pepper. The apple cider vinegar can be changed with red wine vineger, white vinegar etc.

On mums and advice my mum told me to rub Vicks on the kids feet when they had colds it helped stop that 3am cough attack, sleep deprived I tried it and yes it worked. I believe it works on the reflexology principal however when your sleep deprived who cares as long as it works. Yu dont need much and you massage a little in and pop socks on.
