We just celebrated my daughter's third birthday. I'm including a picture here of her decorating her cake. It's a tradition we've held to since we celebrated my oldest daughter's very first birthday. I'm not a "make a cake from scratch" kind of mom but I've managed to make the cakes for every one of my kid's birthdays with the help of a boxed mix. It's a tradition that we all anticiapte and look forward to every year. We've created almost every size, shape, flavor, and theme imaginable. It's a great way to get the kids involved with planning their own birthday celebrations. Creative, fun, and yummy, the girls beam with pride at knowing they've had a hand in helping create a cake masterpiece!
