Re Pen friends

Hi there just to let u al know dont go out to sites looking for pen friends as i let my 8 year old daughter do it and she had a girl who she was talking to and this girl dicided to bring in another friend who was saying he was
8 as well and it turned out to be a pheaphile as was asking my daughter to strip and she her private parts and a lot of other things so i have now banded her from going on any other pen pal sites as i dont trust any bugger out there now they are all sick men.

Be aware
It is good to be aware of what our children are doing on more than a 'supervising from the other side of the room' goes.  Also good to find the pen friends yourself.  If you want her to have a penfriend go through a charity like 'World Vision'. They will hook you up with interested parties in india/africa, and yes, it will likely be good ole snail mail not email, but there are advantages of this also.

because I think that yes we do have to be extremely careful with who our children talk to but I also believe that there are some lovely people to meet on the internet and just because of a few disgusting perverts they shouldn't all be lumped into one category.
