losing contact with a parent

mummycristlyn by mummycristlyn Talking(February 2007) (rank 277th)

My mum and dad split up when i was 8 years old and i have never known my father my mum got re-married when i was 14 yrs old and i have always wondered what it would be like to know my dad i have tried to cantact him when

i was 16 but never had any luck finding  him so i just left it alone i got on the net about 7 months ago and signed up with yahoo and i started to  to make friends on there and little did i know that one of them friends were my father  and i could not belive it was so stunned thinking all this time i have been looking for him maybe i should gone on there a lot sooner  but now we keep in contact with each other he has a new wife and she is such a lovely person  both of them adore my kids so im looking forward to catching up on all those lost yrs so for those out there and have lost contact with a loved one or a close friend  dont give up on finding them

Touching

A very touching story i'm so pleased for you that you can now fill that empty gap you must have had inside you without your father in your life. Enjoy every minute.

I have never met my sperm donar

and probably not likely too either. I have thought about it once for my daughter when she might have needed a bone marrow transplant and if I had to find him I wouldn't have given up either
