Embarassing things kids can do.

MargretaZ by MargretaZ Speaking(February 2007) (rank 500+)
I think the most embarassing things kids can do are usually done in public. My son often gave me food for thought whenever we went out shopping. In the supermarket he once picked up a packet of brightly coloured tampons. He was under the impression that they were a new type
of lolly. When we got to the checkout he kept asking for the lollies. The checkout guy couldn't understand what he was talking about as I didn't have any lollies. Dan, my son, grabbed the tampons and promptly opened the packet. when he pulled out a tampon the checkout guy was devistated. Needless to say I wasn't ready for this either. Dan saw the tampon and started screaming about the lollies and the only thing I could do was add a little humour. I just said, " I think you're too young for those darling." I put the whole lot in my handbag , paid the red faced guy and casually sauntered away. Humour usually helps so make sure you use it whenever necessary. Needless to say that Dan is now 29 and still laughs about the episode.

Love It
My cousin once found a packet of sanitary towels in my aunt's cupboard, she was only about 3 her mum said its to put them in your shoes to make sure they fit better. Needless to say a few minutes later my cousin was playing outside in her Mums shoes, with the sanitary towels hanging out of the back!!!!! (She is over 40 now so was a few years ago!!!)

I like it.

Sure, this advice might not be serious and deeply meaningful, but being able to appropriately handle these sort of situations is something that many parents simply can not do.  This is a good little inspiration (and a fun one to read!) for those that need to learn to take these things in their stride a bit better.

Besides, we need some more light-hearted advice on here.  Lately things have been very focused on the serious sides of life.
