for purchasing music and links where free music downloads are available.  Children love music and it stands to reason an appropriate song for any movement activity will add to the fun as well as prolong your child's attention span.

• Fitness Beginnings - This is a retail site.  It has several children's CD with music for creative movement, parachute activities, rhythm stick activities and more.  It also carries children's fitness DVDs.
• Free Kids Music - This site offers free MP3 music downloads which can be burned to CDs.  The "ABC" links across the type are by artist.  It is a matter of clicking and listening to find songs your child might like.
• Download.com - Offers some free music downloads as well as music to purchase.
• Songs for Teaching - A retail site where downloads may be purchased.  This link is to the action songs, but they have music for learning in all subject areas.
• EZ-Tracks - Free music downloads.  They also have music available for cell phone ringtones.
• Creative Children's CDs - This is a parent's list of favorites on Amazon.com
• My Gym Children's Music - Another parent's list of favorites at Amazon.com

Hopefully, you will be able to find fun tunes for free or at minimal cost which will enhance the movement activities.  Many children's songs drive adults crazy, don' they?  Admit it.  But the ones that drive us the craziest...yep...are the ones the kids love the most.
