No matter what your kids do....

allyp by allyp Young Parent(March 2007) (rank 6th)

I just wanted to write this up, it came to my attention last night while I was watching the news.

A 14 year old girl was killed in her home Sunday night/sometime Monday during the day. She had been doing alot of heavy drugs and was starting to get very violent with her mother and other family members. The news was saying that the police was called to their house more than 5 times in the past 5 weeks. They wouldn't do anything, nor help the daughter so that she wouldn't hurt no-one.

Then Tuesday night her mother was charged with second degree murder on her daughter. She strangled her.

So my advice to any parent out there, NO matter what your kids do to you, there is NO reason to kill them. Get them help if possible.

I hope that this does not happen to another family out there.

If you can't get help for your kids...

Get help for yourself, before this sort of thing ends up being the result.

it could have been prevented
there are ways out there to prevent this, rehab for the child could have been one of the ways,  call the CAT team, the police cannot really do anything with a 14 year old girl  over this as it is a family matter the police can only take her if she refuses to take medication, thanks for bringing this up. The mother should have looked into this more.
