I Love the people I Have met and befriended
I love reading all the advice, I read every article and try to vote and comment on as many as I can

What has changed ?
When I joined Minti, I loved the camaraderie, the friendship, the take it or leave it advice, the excitement of getting advice from people who know exactly what you are going through, even better if like me you are in a tricky situation and you can befriend someone who has already travelled your journey and can give you survival tips as they are further down the path then you
Now we are in danger of losing some of that to attacking each other, resenting others opinions or worrying about ratings, this is an adult parents help and support group, why do we resort to falling out like children???
Okay there has been changes to Minti lately with new ideas, what happens with comfortable slippers ???? eventually you have to upgrade and wear in a new pair, okay so they arent as comfortable at first, but the more you wear them the better they fit. We all need to give this site a chance to settle down, sort out any gremlins and support the people working behind the scenes to keep Minti as the top site it was when I joined.
Backstabbing
Don't we as parents all have enough to contend with without backstabbing others, hurt feelings are really hard to get over. Don't bring personal issues into this site. The majority of us all want Minti to be ............. Minti
Reading cutting comments is not constructive or necessary
Setting an example
True parenting is showing our children how we expect them to grow as adults, do we really want them to grow up believing it is right to knock someone for having a different opinion from them
Judging
Who are we to judge anyone else on here
No one has the right to judge anyone for what they believe is the right thing
When we leave comments, take a breath before sending them and check are we leaving support, friendship, or constructive criticism if its none of those, then should we still send them. Are we Judging others on our own scale of right or wrong.
Who told us we are the ones that are right?

Often I read a question from someone and there is a varying amount of opinions and advice in answers and I find it astonishing that the person who asked the question will then criticise the answers. If the comment or answer is a constructive one there is no need for resentment. You asked the question, there are the answers, take it or leave it, thats your choice!!
If we think we have an answer for someone who has asked a question, then be careful in your wording, this could be an emotional minefield for someone and it is easy to upset or offend people who are already hurt, confused or suffering feelings of worthlessness. So be kind, supportive, honest and constructive.
Voting
Isn't voting supposed to be the 'fun' element of this site.
Don't use your vote to hurt someone
If you cannot vote sensibly don't vote at all
The voting is not the serious issue of Minti, the ADVICE is
Lets not make Minti all about the Votes.
