What Does Your Baby's Cry Mean??
I sure wish this was around for my 2 kids. Last December ( In Australia ) on A Current Affair I watched a story about a woman who can literally talk to babies when they cry and understand them.
The Most basic
of baby cries actually mean something and your baby is trying to communicate with you.
For Example.....The Most Basic Cries meanings are....When your baby makes this sound......
# 1..............NEH....I'm Hungry ( Obviously feed the baby )
# 2..............OWH....I'm Tired ( Try and put the baby to Sleep )
# 3..............HEH....I am experiencing Discomfort ( Could be just wanting a cuddle, or the bed's uncomfortable )
# 4..............EAIRH....I have Lower Gas ( I guess similar to wind pains )
# 5..............EH.....I need to Burp ( Pick up baby and rub/pat back gently to bring out a burp )
I have since found out her website is www.dunstanbaby.com and she does have CD'S & DVD'S for sale,
as well as regular baby/parent group sessions.
I hope this helps some of the mother's who have newborns.
Personally I think her cd & or dvd should be given to every mother for free with her and baby's blue book
(CYH/ nurses records ) items upon discharge.
