What colours should I call for u mum

Bambie30 by Bambie30 Speaking(March 2007) (rank 239th)
I being quite scared on my own at home while the man is at work for days was wondering how my children, who cant recognize all the no.s in a hurry, could ring for help if something was to happen.  So I got different coloured marking pens and nail polishes to put marks under each no a different colour. Then on a peice of A4 cardboard I have a picture of an ambulance fire truck and police car with 3 marks of blue beside them as that is what colour is on the 0. Then we have the numbers for daddy and mummys mobile with their coloured marks in order beside them it makes it a lot quicker and easier and let me tell u it does work daddy has been called at work a few times by my 5 year old. By the way i make circles of the colour with the no. inside the circle when writing down the coloured no.s beside the piccys of who the number belongs to. will post a photo when digital cam is working again sorry. I know it would be easier to learn the no.s but my children identify with the colours first then the no.s
