Toilet training pressure!! |

A note to all the mums who are feeling pressure from mum, mum-in-law, other mums or economic pressure to get their toddler out of nappies. I can only share my views, which are a little "laid-back", maybe. I have a two and a half year old (nearly) boy and
he is in nappies, STILL - HORROR!! I am going to wait ( at least ) until the Spring to toilet train him, as he shows no regard at all of having passed urine or, indeed, of opening his bowels, so I am pretty sure he is not ready to start potty training. I have a five year old who, although seemed to have mastered the art of using a potty at the age of two, she quickly relapsed and it took me a stressful 6 months to train her fully. So, don't feel pressured by the fact that your toddler is a certain age, you will know, as mum that they are at the developmental stage for them, which is right, for them! And good luck...
