Capturing Family Life in Photographs- Idea #5 |

Part of a series of ideas to help any parent take endearing and meaningful pictures of their kids.
Idea #5 - Head & Shoulders
The most common of all photos is the basic head and shoulder shot; child looking at camera, hopefully smiling (or not). But what
about when you give this predicable picture a little twist. Try getting a shot of the back of your baby’s head and focus on the swirly hair at the top of her head, or the lovely shape of her neck. Or what about cropping in tightly and getting a delicate shot of your child’s poetic shoulder blades? It may sound strange, but it looks wonderful. Nothing like a tiny detail to break your heart, in that bittersweet, parent kind of way.
