Clothing for all occasions

Anonymous Author (March 2007)

I have a set of clothes for all occasions like for kindy, home and going out to restaurants etc.  I think it's a great  idea if you don't mix all the clothes up, for example, you don't want your child going out to the  shops in her kindy

clothing,  or to a restaurant in her home clothes, and so on.

So what i've done is i've arranged her wardrobe from short sleeves to long sleeves to tank tops etc, and then seperated the kindy clothing from her best clothes then her home clothes, I've put a label in between to seperate the clothing and written on them what clothing they are on a seperate coat hanger.

You will get to know after a while what clothing is what, and it does get easier. I have found this to be really easy, and enjoyable to do, as she always gets dirty at kindy, and not so dirty at home, but i love Sarah to look her best while she comes to the shops with me. I do get alot of comment's on how well she's dressed.

Also i forget sometimes to put them into the right places and my daughter corrects me to what clothing is what, and it also teaches the child too i think to always look nice for going out etc. Gives them self pride i think.

I always buy her kindy and some home clothing from op shops, and the rest of her clothing from places like K Mart or Target etc. Hope this will help some of you out there.

Nice Idea
My boys would never be able to do this though and my daughter as a child was a huge tomboy,
Ironically my 22 year old used to be into doing things like this when he lived at home. He would have separate places for work clothes, sport and going out
