Positive Reinforcement

SingleMumOfOne by SingleMumOfOne Speaking(April 2007) (rank 476th)

I'm such an idiot some times.  I've been recently getting very frustrated by my boystrous 2 year old and his temper tantrums.  But then I remembered something that got me very successfully through the first 18 months of his life.

POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT!!

And now, thank fully, instead

of telling him that he's naughty, I praise his good behaviour and the temper tantrums are getting fewer and fewer.

:)
Its amazing the difference it can make. Its so much harder to catch that good behaviour and praise it on time then it is to see the bad stuff. I am a big believer in positive reinforcement and its worked a treat for me :)
