When my oldest daughter turned one, a dear friend gave her a book called "On The Day You Were Born" by Debra Frasier. She signed the inside with special birthday wishes which made the gift even more special. When I read the book for the first time I
cried (I was very emotional with it being my baby's first birthday). Since then it has not only become a book my family treasures (I still get teary when I read it), it is now THE book I give as a first birthday gift.
"On The Day You Were Born" is an enchanting story of the wonders of the Universe. With it's colorful illustrations and meaningful message, I'm sure it will become a family favorite for you too. Both my girls have their own copies and love to hear this story because it makes them feel so special to us, so important in the world ,and so very loved. What could be better than that?
