spiders!!! Beware!!!

Hi there everyone at minti,

This is just a friendly reminder that spiders are on the move at the moment and they love clothes. I live in Victoria so I am not sure about anywhere else in the country.

The other day my partner ( Ian) grabbed a

pair of socks from the draw that had been washed, put through drier, folded and put away. He put the socks on and a few seconds later as he started to put his shoes on he felt this terrible sting on his foot and to his surprise a white-tailed spider came crawling out. Since then we have found about 5 more white-tails in the house.

So my advice is that it is always wise to check your clothes before putting them on because you never know what could be hiding inside.

This story is a little ironic, we are always telling our children to wear socks and shoes so they don't stand on any creepy crawlies and the one person in our house that always wears socks and shoes gets bitten. lol.

Great advice though . . .I got back to Tassie today after being away for two weeks and can't believe how many spiders are lurking about about . . . . . Time for some spray . . . .

So true

White tails are on the move in the SW of WA as well, hope you hubby is OK and that he doesnt get a bad reaction to the bite. My daughters mother in law got bitten on the arm, she reacted to the venom and it was a shocker.
