Head aches when you are pregant

Marlena by Marlena Young Parent(April 2007) (rank 13th)
When you are pregnant you will find that you may get more head aches then normal.   You can take Tylonal but not Advil but if you are anything like me you don't like to take medication unless it is the last option.  I have found the peppermint oil works
great.  You put it on your temples and the back of you neck and it helps.  Just be care full when you put it on because it could get some in your eyes and it doesn't take much to make your eyes water.  Take the time to massage the oil in because it works better that way sand it relaxes you.

B4 I was preggers I used to get headaches, when I was preggers the headaches went.  Back again after bubs was born *sigh* .

Here in Australia it is best to only use paracetomol eg Panadol.  Peperment is really good we have something here called a migrastick, basically it is pererment that you can put on your temples and back of the neck, like you said.

I suffered with headache's quite frequently during my pregnancy due to me looking at a computer screen all at my job & contently on the phone, my husband used to run me a nice warm bath (spa) get in with me & give me a massage every night after work.
