i usedto have a step sister called kellie she was a lovely girl so pretty had everything gonig for her that was up until she meet her boyfriend darren and he started beating her one night i had a call from her it was 2 in the morning she wanted

me togo meet her but there was something weird she said dont bring anyone with you so i assured her it was jus her and me so she explained whwere she was and i rushed to meet her she was a state her face was black all her legs had been kicked her clothes were ripped i took her home with me cleaned her up this went on for a goodd year he got her into heroin thats it she was doomed after and yr and half prison she had a £500 a day habit but that was good cos she give it up she was clean i had my best friend and sister back it was her release day we got loads of booze got hammered and we were like we were kids again it was so nice it was the kellie i knew a few days later she went into town and she was spotted by an addict his name was john dee he was the main man nobody knows wat happened that day but kellie was nowher to be found upuntil the poice knocked my door they asked if i was emily i said yes y wats the problem and the policeman said do u want to sit down ive got some bad news for u its kellie the worst thoughts came through my head she been stabbed or shot or something stupid but no she was injected withheroin pure heroin and he left her in the trainstation toilets to have a heart attck and die cctv seen john carrying her to the toilets kellie was clean and they finnished her off and got her drunk to do it she had whisky in her system they also found sperm in her so she must have been raped by him too i want my sister back but i cant she gone and never coming back yhis is where my miserable life started i was 14 how could i understand wat has happened beneath me my life is falling apart then the family blamed me cos it was me she came to to get help she never trusted them with it it was her big secret afteri thought it was my fault cos i should have gone with her but now i realised i cant hold her hand the whole way well i cant hold her haand at all anymore shes gone im gonna end it here cos i feel pretty sad after tellin this R.I.P. kelllie i love you and always will i will never forget happy birthday xxxx

I am so sorry for your loss. You poured your heart out and it was hard for me not to cry too. I hope you realise that this is not your fault as a friend of mine had relatives do this to her when her partner committed suicide and I just couldn't believe it. She had enough to deal with and in there grief they obviously have no idea what they are saying but no excuses for them or your family. Your sister was lucky to have you and no matter what you can't be blamed for this. Thank you for sharing. RIP Kellie. Hugs. xx

i'm literally balling my eyes out, that story has touched my heart and i know many of us here also, you are so very strong i don't know how you do it girl.
your amazing and she knows that, that's why she went to you, there was no way to know you were practically a baby when she came to you and the family well let me just say they should be discusted for what they said to you they are the adults and how dare they blame a child for this, i'm sorry it was and never will be your fault, you did more than any of them did and you are a true and wonderful person for it

What a sad story to read. Your step sister obviously saw strength in you when she came to u for help instead of other family members and u did just that...u helped her. Noone could have forseen what was coming. It was completely out of your control. Try not to feel like you were to blame...u weren't.

Keep your chin up emmie, it's a very large burdon to feel that you are somehow to blame for any of this. In time you will see that things sometimes happen that are completely out of our control and the healing can proceed. You can't be responsible for anyone but yourself and I hope that you can be at ease with that.

such a sad story but a warning for all the minti community... be a trustworthy parent to your kids so they can come to the whole family with stuff like this... kudos to you emmie for the courage to tell this story... you did a great job as her sister and i's sure she thanks you for your caring nature and trustworthyness... i hope you can find peace with what happened... :)'s to you and your family.

Im sorry to hear

about your sister, I went through the same thing with my sister but fortunately I was able to get her clean so in a small way I know what you went through to a certain point.

Thank you for sharing your story I hope that who ever else reads this that is in a similar situation will do all they can just like you did but with a better out come.

I really am sorry for the loss of your sister.

How awful for you i hope you feel some healing out of sharing this.
I would have loved to give you 5 stars for this but as you are sharing and not giving advice I gave you as high as I could.
Maybe when you feel up to it you could edit it and add some advice for us to help others in this situation and I'll change my vote and I'm sure you could help lots of others too
