headlice arrgh it is soo annoying, chloes school has had an epidemic so i thought id share a few tips that i use to keep it all under control.
- after conditioning your childs hair comb through with a lice comb everytime this will shift any eggs as they
cannot hatch if they are not close to the scalp.
- use the two pronged lice combs as they get the eggs off better.
- change head lice treatments every second time you use them as the lice will adapt.
- use a spray bottle with a few drops of tea tree oil mixed with water on your childs hair before they go to school.
- wash bedding after every outbreak.
- buy a robi comb they are expensive and wont do much for the eggs but will aradicate any live lice in the hair.
- if one person in the family has lice treat everyone at once even if u cant see lice in the other family members hair.
- alert the school of any outbreaks.
