Cheese the new form of heroin?
Cheese is being branded as the new form of heroin...Yes you read right the name for it is cheese...It is made by mixing black tar heroin and crushed Tylenol PM tablets...As far as I know this drug has not hit our Australian
shores but then it may of who am I to know for sure...
Cheese is highly addictive and is very dangerous to the user...It is a tan coloured powder that is usually snorted by the user with a straw or even the outside of a ballpoint pen..It can be packaged in a few ways...Either in a zip lock bag or in something called a bindle...Probably the scariest part of this whole drug to me anyway is the accessability to this drug...It can be bought for as little as $2 therefore making it very easily accessable to kids of all ages...Who wouldn't let their child have that sort of money for a treat for tuckshop?
There is ways that this drug is sold...It can be bought in "bumps" of cheese...A single dose of cheese is about $10 a gram whereas a single dose is around $2 as I previously stated...
The usual symptoms of this scary drug are tiredness and drowsiness with Euphoria and really thirsty, the user becomes disorientated, hungry and has sudden changes in their school marks and even changes in friends...
As with heroin cheese comes with real overdose risks...heroin is heroin and a combination with depressants can cause breathing problems and respitory arrest that can lead to death...
Because heroin is addictive there is real withdrawal symptoms with cheese...And these can happen within a few hours of use...the signs of withdrawal are mood swings with insomnia, headaches, chills, feeling sick and vomiting...Muscle spasms, and muscle and/or bone pain, Anxiety and agitation that may last up to a week...
This is just another illegal drug that will hit our shores sooner or later if not already...I feel all parents should be ready with all the information that is possible to have to protect our children from another scary thing in life...
Take care all
Cheers
