Since it's my birthday today, I thought I would write some advice on birthday thoughts and feelings!!!

I guess some of us, think like this when our birthday's come around again. Another year has passed and you're a year older. It's mostly the same as

Where has the fun gone, when we were kiddies? How much fun it was waiting for the day to arrive when you would be showered with gifts, love and attention???

I am 29 today, and the BEST thing I got this year was being remembered.

• A phone call is just as exciting as opening a present. I wonder who will be on the phone this time? Who will sing the loudest, and make me have a giggle???
• A message in your lounge, from someone you've never met and only chatted to for a few months, that you hardly know at all, but feel like you've known forever and has taken the time to search for the special picture to attach to their lovely message they have left.
• A text message, telling you to have a great day, whatever you may be doing!
• A card in the mail, sending you warmest birthday wishes from someone you haven't heard from for ages.
• Birthday wishes from your parents, grand parents.... knowing they are the ones that have watched you grow from a tot to a adult
• Kids, grandkids birthday wishes which are the most innocent and most loving.

I just wanted to write that no matter how old you are, your special day can be just as exciting as it was when you we're little. To feel special, because someone no matter how close or far, remembered YOU on your special day. Your special day to remember, that you have yet survived another year, no matter how good or bad it was. To reflect back on past birthdays and see how much you have matured and accomplished since all those years ago.

Spending your special day, surrounded by people who care and love you, I feel is the most rewarding present a person can have.
