Teething fruit toy

MrsMateos by MrsMateos Speaking(May 2007) (rank 367th)

My mum did this for me and so I tried it on my own 4mth old baby girl and she loved it.

I crushed a sweet apple and wrapped it into a hankychief, then secured the contents with rubberband, hairtie or if worried about it breaking a knot. That way they can chew and suck out the juice without danger of chocking on small bits and keeps them interested while exploring new flavors. You could put other fruit inside or freeze it I guess too.

Re: Teething fruit toy
Great idea, I will have to tell my friends who have little ones that are up to that stage of teething.

Yes, I had quite a few friends that told me to do this too - however, Jaydee never really fussed too much when he teethed, and I never got around to it.  Good advice, nice and down to earth.
