I just want to say first im not a computer expert ,but what i can say this is what i did when my msn had got a viruses a few months ago ..

my son accepted a picture off msn not knowing it was a viruses and messed up

i couldnt find out how to get rid of the virus on my msn

one .....you can just delete the whole msn and then ree download it again

two....... if that dosent work, you also can do this

go to start ,its on the bottom left hand corner of your screen click onto it

click all programs

scroll up to accessories click onto that

go down to system tools

then down to System restore

a pop up will then come onto your screen

on the right side of this pop up from system restore clickonto RESTORE MY COMPUTER TO AN EARLIER TIME then hit next

then it will go to the next page with a calender ,,

if you know when you got the virus click onto an earlier time like a  day or week ago ,,

then just follow the very simple instructions and ree boot your computer

I hope this helps people as it has helped me when i had no other idea on what to do ,,

it wont delete your pictures etc,, just anything that you have added that day or eg in the past week  depending also how far back you want to set and restore your computer ,.

like if you have just downloded imesh etc,,,

there may be better people with lot more experience on minti that have deleted the viruses ,, and i welcome you to add what you have also done to help others

this has been very very useful for me ,,

never click onto anything on msn as there are lots of viruses and new ones always going arround ,,

if you see anything that says click onto this always ask the person who you are talking to at the time what is this they have put a link up for yourself to click onto

some people are not aware that they have a viruses and innocently infect others , that inturn it  goes to everyone on their msn friends list and send out the same viruses and so on,,
