Minti Medals...A pat on the back as you move through the ranks...

Okay this is another article about another thing on Minti that is a fun thing for you to get...

The medals...

 I will explain them to you and how to get them ...Again, I will say it the rankings and awards  aren't to say you are a better person or parent they are just a little fun to get rewards for participating and sharing with other parents...That is what this site is all about isn't it...A fun way to interact with other parents and let them know what worked for you at different times in your parenting Journey...Even to help others through the hard times or to help other parents realise not one of us is alone...

Like the sheilds the medals are given in bronze, silver and also gold...If you click on the word awards in the orange box on your homepage to the left hand side then it will take you to your awards page and show you the medals, patches and sheilds you have earnt...If you click on one of the medals it will make it larger and tell you what it is for and what is the next requirements to get the next medal in that catergory...

The categories for the medals are...

Advice...This is the number of articles you have written...The further along you get the bigger the gap between new medals...The highest medal requirement in this one is 200 pieces of advice written...

Comments made...This is for the amount of comments you have made all over Minti...The more you participate the quicker you will get here...The requirements needed to achieve all medals in this category is 400 comments made by you...

Score...This means you have reached a certain amount of articles written that have an average score above 4...I am not sure of the requirements needed to achieve all the medals in this catergory as no one on Minti has gotten to that as of yet...

Votes...This medal is for votes made on articles...So the more you read and vote on  the quicker you will get new medals here...To recieve the highest medal in this category you have to have given 400 votes on articles you have read...

These medal are a way for you to follow your progress through Minti and are fun to get and once again a pat on the back for being an active and valued member of Minti...The awards system set up in Minti is for you to enjoy not for competition between members...It is really fun and gives you a smile when you get a picture and a congratulations on the top of your page to tell you when each of the requirements are met for each award...

The pictures I have included in this article are just to show you bronze silver and gold medals...Some of them in the colours will have different numbers on them as there is a few medals in each colour...
