Hi There
Here I go, my part to the series Holidaying in ....................? What to do in my town.....
Brisbane is such a beautiful place and here are 3 MUST SEE'S in Brisbane
Southbank: Southbank is situated across the river, on the opposite
side of the city. Southbank has a sandy beach, where there are a few pools to swim in and have fun with the kiddies on a hot day. Southbank also has many shops and heaps of eating places. It also holds FREE entertainment and festivals from time to time. A popular attraction is the Southbank Lifestyle Markets, held on Friday/Saturday nights and Sunday. The markets are full or arts and crafts, clothes, etc etc.
Mt Coot-tha Lookout: In Brisbane with a few hours to spare, why not take a relaxing drive up to this lookout. You will be surrounded by a panoramic view of Brisbane City. This lookout also holds wedding and special occasion functions. This lookout has been one of the favourite destinations for residents and visitors to Brisbane for many years. It has matured into one of Brisbane's most cultural heritage sites.
Australia Zoo: A easy 1 hour drive from Brisbane is Home of The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwins "Australia Zoo". Australia Zoo offers all it's visitors a thrilling experience and exciting day out. With 14 zoo shows daily, you won't want to miss sitting in the 5000 seat Crocoseum to watch a croc show! OR if you dare, have you picture taken with a Giant Python. Australia Zoo can be accessed by private or public transport including bus and train.
So from me to you, there is a few things to do, when you visit Brisbane!
Thanks for reading
