Leg Cramps during pregancy |

I asked a question last week about weather or not my leg cramps where normal or not (thanks for the answers). I decided to look it up further so I could find the cause of it to prevent it from happening. I have tried a bunch of things and here
is what I found worked for me. I rotate my ankles and wiggle my toes when I am sitting and in the middle of the night. I try not to stretch in the middle of the night and in the morning if I can help it because I am scared my leg will cramp up. I try not to stand or sit for too long. If I have cleaning to do I don't so it all at once but instead I clean one room then sit for a bit. You don't really want to stand for to long or sit for to long. If my muscles are sore then I have a warm bath and that tends to help before bed after a long day. Sleeping in a comfortable position helps and I sleep with a pillow between my knees. The may one that I noticed worked is drink lots of water. I find if I don't drink enough watch some days thats when my legs cramp up in the middle of the night. When I do get these leg cramps at first I cant really move my leg at all and all I wanna do is scream, but once I can kinda move it I stretch my leg and point my toes upwards. I find it sore for most of the day but it does go away. if it is a constant cramp i would talk to your doctor because it could be a blood clot which is common with pregnancy.
