Oil for pregnant mums to prevent stretch marks and also helps heal stretch marks....

sluxton by sluxton Talking(June 2007) (rank 102nd)

Hi

This recipe is taken directly from Nerys Purchon's "Handbook of Aromatherapy", p186.

4 x 250iu vitamin E capsules

7 tablespoons sweet almond oil

3 teaspoons olive oil

2 teaspoons avocado oil

1 teaspoon wheat germ oil

10 drops mandarin essential oil

10 drops palmarosa oil

20 drops lavender essential oil

Pierce the vitamin E capsules and squeeze the oil into a 200ml bottle.  Add the remaining oils and shake to blend.  If possible, leave for 4 days to synergise.  Shake the bottle well before use.  Use twice daily if possible.

I used this recipe throughout both pregnancies and made double and triple batches.  I was huge in both pregnancies and gave birth to a 10 pounder and 9 pound 14 for the second and I escaped without stretch marks.  Friends of mine have also used the recipe and found it is equally as good as the clarins one you can buy but this is far cheaper and smells equally as nice!  Give it a go.

Alternatively, if you can be bothered with this one, Bio-oil is great too and smells really nice as well.

bio-oil is excellent too.  I have been using it on my daughter's cheek since she had a mole removed and the scar has lightened up significantly.

Your skin would have to be super soft with this, and you would smell so good that you might want to put it on after dinner so your man could have you for dessert!

I used Palmers Cocoa Butter with both my pregnancies...and occasionally Olive Oil.

They both leave your skin refreshed.

My chiropractor's wife used just olive oil and she swore by that as well!  Great to hear someone else with similar success.
