Have you ever sat there and thought to yourself Where is the handbook for this kid...LOL...I can see you all nodding cause we all do...Not one of us are perfect with anything we do with our kids...We all make mistakes when it comes to our kids... What we need to do

is learn from this mistake to make it worth it and we need to also think of a few other things as well...So when a mistakes has been made you need to sit back and think...
Don't dwell on it...We all do it and you aren't the first and sure won't be the last...Do not blow it out of proportion...Have a cuppa and think where to go next or what you have learnt from this...
Say you are sorry...This is a big thing..We teach our kids to say sorry when they make a mistake so you be a good role model and do the same...It will earn you heaps of browmnie points with your kids and make you feel better about yourself...As well as showing them what to do next time they make a mistake...
Think about it...Remember what brought you to this decision in your life and what events bought you to this mistake...What did you do to contribute to this mistake...Was there anyone else who contributed to this mistake also...What did they do to add to this mistake...
Work out what you can do to make sure this will not happen again...Write things...Reading things once written seem easier to understand that have it running through your head over and over again... ask for advice...You can ask anon on Minti if you like or even do it under your name...There is no shame in making mistakes...We all do it...
Now make a positive plan that this mistake will not happen again...Be realistic when you make this plan and make sure it is something you have complete control over...
If mistakes came in packages then there would be really big ones and tiny little ones...You need to unwrap it and put it away instead of keeping it on the desk looking at it over and over....(if that makes sense) What you need to remember all the time that dwelling on a mistake you have made for ages will not be productive for you and the rest of your family...
Seize the day and face your mistake deal with it and then move on trying to never make the same again...
Just my thoughts on a subject I wanted to share...
Cheers
