A friendly suggestion – please do not give out your personal information over the internet unless you trust that person!
I emphasise the suggestion of only giving out your personal information over the internet if you really trust a person. We would all like to believe people would

do things that are in the best interest of us, but sometimes people (such as Con Artists) make you believe that when their best interest is just for themselves.
I notice that some Minti members are typing out their email addresses in the Q&A or Group sections. For those who do not know, people (including scammers or junk mailers) can spam your real email inbox if you do place it publicly on the internet.
If you would like to share your personal information such as your phone number or email address over Minti, please do so via minti mail as this is your safest bet. And of course, exercise common sense - don't give out your banking details or passwords to anyone online, and only share your home address with those you know well.
As you are all aware, Minti is not an online auction or bartering website, so we are unable to help you out if something goes wrong with your sale and/or your purchase. If you are looking to purchase goods via Minti, please do it via a proper online auction website such as
eBay where PayPal and eBay have a Buyers Protection Policy – that way if someone tries to con money out of you without sending the goods, you will be protected.
