E-Card Me

tracey by tracey Young Parent(July 2006) (rank 13th)

I've heard conflicting oppinions about the e-card. Some say it's a nice and accepatable way to send a personal greeting, others say it's much more appropriate to send a hand written note via snail mail. But, parents know that efficiency is the name of the game, so finding a way

to do something that saves time and money is usually a really good thing. Regardless your belief, you are going to receive and e-card or send an e-card for one reason or another, if you haven't already.  I've discovered a website where you can find a unique e-card for any and every occassion.

StoryPeople is the online home of artist Brain Andreas and it is a wonderful place to visit. Brian's thoughtful, clever, and often humorous words that accompany his perfectly quirky line drawn, watercolored illustrations make for little masterpieces that charming and enchanting. Besides offering free e-cards, you'll find gift items for sale such as prints, scultptures, and books of his one-of-a-kind works of artwork.

Visit StoryPeople and see what all the fuss is about. Browse around and get inspired. And then send and e-card and make someone's day!

A confession!
I only tend to send E-Cards if I have forgotten a Birthday (Be assured it happens rarely) or if it is just an internet friend of whom I don't have their personal address.

E-Card Me
I love that site - I sent ecards to all my friends letting them know I will be in town.
I personally send ecards but if it is an older family member or a child I will always send a card by snail mail as well.
I also use the Jackie Lawson site it is awesome!!

Now I just need some one to send me an ecard :(

E cards
I don't send many, but I do love the ones by Jackie Lawson... http://www.jacquielawson.com/. I think that you have to pay a small annual donation, but they are lovely!

Re: E cards

For the people who like Jacquie Lawson's ecards, you can also check out the artistic, animated ecards from Ojolie.com.

For people like me..
I love sending handwritten cards but I also love e-cards. It's very useful for people like me who usually forget until the day of the occasion to greet the person so there's really no time to send a real card.
