I live in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide and there are plenty of places to go and see and do. During the summer you can drive on some of the local beaches and take a few steps and you are in the beautiful carm water. Also i live about 15mins

to McLaren Vale which is another wine area that produces some of the best wines in the world.
About a 40minute drive further south and you are at Victor Harbour which is the home of Granite Island and the Bluff which you can walk around both. With Granite Island you can walk across the bridge for free or take a horse and carriage ride at a small cost. There are night tours on Granite Island where you can see the penguins.
Further south again you have Rapid Bay where you have some great fishing area and about i think 20 to 30 mins further on you can catch the ferry from Cape Jervious to Kangaroo Island which is a lovely place to go and see the seals at Seal Bay.
Hope this helps everyone if you ever come to Adelaide its a great place to come and visit.
