Keeping happy

thwock by thwock Walking(July 2007) (rank 500+)
Just a little teency bit of advice from me...

One of the best pieces of advice I think I was given as a new mum was that babies are mobile. I think if I'd felt unable to go out with our daughter I would have enjoyed those first few
months a lot less. We went for lots of pram walks, and met up with lots of friends. She did really well with seeing different faces and I felt great. I'd encourage new parents to not be afraid to leave the house!

Re: Keeping happy
Really fantastic advice
Too many Mums get swamped with trying to be the "perfect" mum and think by the time they have fed baby and done the cleaning the day is over, Housework can be done at any time. Get our more its great for you and baby

Re: Keeping happy
Yes, get them out, show them off - after going to all that effort to make them, you deserve to let people see what wonderful results you have!  Plus, when you are out of the house, you won't see the housework that you didn't do.

I am SO looking forward to being able to push my pram with my new baby in it!!! 24 weeks, 6 days...and counting... I have a new three wheeler pram, and I can't wait to use it!!! And as my baby is due the end of October,  hopefully we will be starting to get some lovely weather then....
