Being comfortable while you are sleeping and pregnant |

I have been finding it harder and harder to get sleep these days. I have 17 more days until this baby is born and I have a 2 year old so I can use as much sleep as possible. I farther along I get the worse it gets
to get comfortable. Obviously I cant sleep on my belly and when I sleep on my back I cant breath very well and it just hurts. That is because you are sleeping on your back puts pressure on your lower back and maybe on your intestines as well. I find that the best position for me has been on my side. I switch in the middle of the night from right to left but they say that the best is to lie on your left side for better blood flow. I have a pillow that i put between my knees which helps with my back pain, ( even do this when I am not pregnant because it helps with the back). It might be a bit uncomfortable at first if you are a belly sleep like I am but now it is the only way I can fall asleep.
I just wanted to share this with you because i find that this is the only way I can get to sleep. You don't need to spend your money on those pregnancy pillows if you cant afford it, I just get a regular body pillow or pillow. But people have bought them and liked them. You may find that when you drop you will find it a bit more comfortable to find a position to sleep but it doesn't last long for that baby to take up the extra room you just got back LOL.
I wish all the pregnant women out there the best of luck finding there just right position for them because you are gonna need some much need rest before that baby comes.
