Paint in kids clothes

5kids by 5kids Speaking(September 2007) (rank 228th)

I have finally discovered the way to get that dreaded paint from daycare out of the kids clothes.

When your child comes home from daycare and their  clothes have paint on them, before you wash them spray the offending paint with vinegar then throw it in the wash and

it comes straight out. Yay! No more paint stained kindy clothes.

I also use vinegar on the painted clothing. All my kids love to paint, even the teens. They all do art at school and kindy.

Re: Paint in kids clothes
Most of the time I sent my youngest in a white shirt - Oh I can hear the groans already  But you know what, I now have a wonderful treasure that I keep that has various artwork on it, and it helped him learn his colours and different shapes and designs (like spots and lines and dashes etc). I figured it was easier to wear this one most of the time, and just leave the paint stains etc on it than to worry myself over how to get it clean. Leisa

YAY - I tip for removing kindy paint! ! !  Thank goodness for that . .  I'm forever scrubbing to get the damned stuff out or raiding my hubby's carby cleaner . . .

Thanks heaps   . . ..  Kellz

I was so happy when she did tell us. Alex had so many clothes wreaked in day care. The other thing she said was the spree spray straight as they got home from school.
