a quick tip for bottle washing

Anonymous Author (September 2007)

I found this to be really helpful for me when washing my sons bottles and hopefully it will help a few of you out there as well.

When you're washing the bottles do you find that removing the dried on formula around the grooves on the bottle neck really

frustrating to get off?  I discovered if you buy a cheap toothbrush and use that to clean around the grooves that they come off in a flash and saves you time and scrubbing.

I posted on here before about Pidgeons Bottle Nipple and Vegetable cleaner and find the combination of the two saves me a lot of hard work and the bottles are crystal clean in a fraction of the time!

Re: a quick tip for bottle washing

i have the same problem with charlie's bottles too, but after your last tip with the Pidgeons Bottle cleaner and they also have a really really good bottle brush, i don't seem to have to spend so much time cleaning the bottles now, another thing that i do is soak all the bottles and teats etc in the bath with some Milton and hot water for the day, i only do it once a week, but it seems to help keeping them really clean and easy to clean too,

thanks for your great tips keep them coming,

hugs and kisses

I used to do that also with my last child. Works wonders doesn't it and the toothbrush has more than one use.
