The words of 'early intervention' are
used to refer to a wide range of servicves for young children who have additional or special needs. it also means startingas early as possible in order to help them reach their full potential.what are these 'special needs or additional needs that a young child might have which suggest the need for early intervention after all every child has special needs of there own here a feww exampls
* A two year old who has not yet starting to talk and whose family are concerend about him/her language development .
* a baby who is born with a diagnosed condition such as down syndrome
*Ten month old baby who seems floppy and is not yet showing signs of rolling over or sitting up
early intervention may be described as specialisec services provied to young children whose normal development is atrisk for some reason these can be physical or intellectual reasons they maybe diagnosed conditions of they may have deveopmental delays. An early intervention also provides services such as educational programs,speech theraphy,occupational therapy and physiotherapy
I have been usein the early intervention program for 5 yrs now and its great they offer so much support to familys who are going through a very hard time and trying to cope with what is gong on with their child there aimis to help children with there needs to live a happy and productive lives every month they will have a family fun day like take the kids and there familys to the zoo or the park and the kids have a great time
