Sending Emails To Minti Friends |

This is some advice for people who send emails and forwards to a lot of people through Minti from your private email address and keeping others information confidential. I am going to tell you a little bit about TO:, CC: (carbon Copy) and BCC: (Blind Carbon Copy).
TO: You
have to at least put one person in this section for the email to go to someone. If you send a email to say 10 people and you put all the email addresses in this section then if they click reply the email it will go back to those other 10 people you send the email to and yourself. This is not a good option because now everyone that you sent the email address to has everyone’s email address.
CC: (Carbon Copy) This means that if you send a email to everyone in this field everyone can still see everyone’s email addresses but when they click reply it will go back to yourself t would be very easy for them to reply to all of the recipients and it would be very easy for them to reply to all of the recipients (you being the sender). It is however handy if you want to send a email say for a party of some sort and you want other people to view this message but it's not addressed directly to them. This isn’t a safe option because of those reasons.
BCC: (Blind Carbon Copy) This means if you want to send a email to multiple people you put everyone’s email address in this section so it remains confidential and no one can see the other email addressees. This is a safe option. you dont need a email address in the (TO:) section for this option.
When sending these sort of emails please do the following;
- In the “BCC:” area type in or click all the peoples email addresses you wish to send the email to.
- If you do receive emails from people and you can see other email addressees please don’t add them with out permission and email them because they might not want anything from you. It isn’t fair to just email a random person you don’t know and it is quite rude if they haven’t given you their email address without asking.
I hope this helps understanding how to send emails.
