pupps rash, an answer

cwnh by cwnh Walking(October 2007) (rank 500+)

I was subjected to this rash also. It is as bad as everyone says. I found an explanation and an answer. The explanation is that the baby is taxing your liver. Your liver cannot handle it and the toxins are emitted into the bloodstream. Once in your bloodstream there is

no exit except thru your skin. This is the pupps rash.

Creams? Help is limited. Steroids will hurt your baby. Being induced is not a great option, more complications can arise. So what to do?

Support your liver. Here' s how.  Do not eat processed foods, wheat, flour, dairy, caffine, sugar.  Whole foods, veggies, and whole grains are great.  Drink dandilion tea (with honey is good) 4 times a day. Take milk thistle 3 times a day. You will see improvement within a day. In three days my itching was almost completely gone and the rash faded considerably. Other things I did was tepid oatmeal baths and grandpa's pine tar soap.  But the milk thistle and tea, along with avoiding things that are difficult to process made the difference. You can get these products at a health food store. Be sure the milk thistile does not have any caffine.

I cannot stress this enough. No doctor will give you this advice yet it is the perfect solution. Good luck!
