This summer most of you would be either heading to the pool or having your pool blown up for some fun summer activities... So its important for us all to rememebr to use water safety and sun safety....
Here is some tips to keep you and your family safe
this summer...
Pool rules
. Never leave your child in the pool unattended, and also never leave a older sibling to watch over their younger siblings.....
. Do not rely on safety vests or rings and never take your eyes off your child when these items are in use..
. Make sure that your children understand the pool rules, and neverr allow them to run around the edge of the pool...
. Apply safety gates and fences recommended by law of your local council...
Never leave any toys for tempation after use of the pool...
Sun smart..
.
Make sure they slip, slop, slap.. wear a brim hat,. slop on some sun cream, and also use a lip balm on lips, and slap on a top....
Encourage your children to reapply sunscreen after 15- 20 minutes off being in the pool.
. Have heaps of fluids available to avoid dehydration....
.make sure they keep in a shady spot between the hours of 10am and 3pm australian standards time....
Have fun this summer and prevent any burns or drownings.....
