Australian Parental Campaign to Save our Kids from ADHD, Asthma and Many Other Conditions.

Robynyum by Robynyum Talking(October 2007) (rank 500+)

Australian Parental Campaign to Save our Kids from ADHD, Asthma and Many Other Conditions.

In Forster, NSW, Australia there is a dedicated group of young mothers who have formed  'The great Lakes Food Intolerance Group'. They have been extremely active as many of their children have severe Intolerances

- some of which have led to diagnoses of Autism, Aspergers and more. One young Mum's goes into autism like beaviour when he is given the wrong foods but normally is a bright young boy with very high level Intelligence levels.

These young Mothers have banded together to bring Sue Dengate to the attention of other mothers. So who is Sue Dengate?

Sue Dengate is an Australian food additive lobbyist who has been nominated twice for Australian of the Year in 2005 and 2006. She runs the Food Intolerance Network at  www.fedup.com.au  and has written the books  'Different Kids', 'Fed Up', 'Fed Up With Asthma' and 'The Failsafe Cookbook'.

Sue dengate will travel to regions when assisted by groups to help educate parents, teachers, childcare  workers, doctors, health care professionals and alternative practitioners. This is extremely important knowledg and you can find out a lot at her website.

Meanwhile our region is forging ahead with one preschool now completely additive and gluton free in their food for thechildren. The same preschool grows produce and the Children's Garden is in the finals of Gardening  Australia! They are also part of The forster Tuncurry Earth Editors Group here, which has produced a magazine for every household in the area on ways to get healthy and go green. The kids love their garden, the food they grown and eating well. In addition to his we have Bowen being done on young kids and this too is proving very good for kids with problems. I hope many will access the site www.fedup.com.au and the Earth Editors at www.climatefriendlyliving.org. May all your children benefit form the work of some very dedicated young Mothers.

Re: Australian Parental Campaign to Save our Kids from ADHD, Asthma and Many Other Conditions.

I have been to her talk and bought her DVD. I have just finished watching it with my husband and it is just amazing!!! Two of the girls on the DVD were my students at School and they remembered all that I did with my son. This led them to a quick connection with Sue Dengate. Isn't  it wonderful when you can make such an impact so many years later. These two gorgeous young Mum's wrapped me up in big hugs and kisses on the night of the talk.

Geoff and I discussed what would have been if our son was kept on that diet so many years ago. Instead the 'allergy specialist' declared him cured at 7 and by 8 he was a mess. By 10 he was non functional and unable to continue school. We started again with the  diet and many many other programs to reclaim him.  Thankfully it all worked but I urge you all to really get together - buy or borrow Sue's materials you will be amazed at what changes occur. Jamie Oliver is in it and even he is left 'speechless' when told that asthma had virtually been eliiminated. The next generation is yet to come for me but I will be prepared!!  L&L Robyn

Robynyum (I'll spell it right this time - sorry about before), this is really interesting.  The links provide such a lot of information I will be back to check it more thoroughly later, when my little helper isn't trying to type too.  I really love the way you post articles that make us question popular culture and think for ourselves - thanks a lot - Lui.
